1870+7 - Evelyn's family killed (Human mother, Changeling father and younger brother, and older half changling/human sister (it was assumed since the bodies were burned in the fire))

1874+11 - Evelyn was saved by and met father figure (Armon Themis May)

TLDR:
Evelyn's family was killed in a fire. Evelyn believes when she was young, resulting in her seeking out who she saw as officials. The older men understood her pleas and accepted her into the May family. She grew up under the care of her foster father (Armon Themis "May"). He taught her to be street smart, better use her changeling abilities, and be more independent. found proof her sister was alive, became a named member in the family soon after.

She is very standoff when it comes to others she meets. She has a stern exterior but feels for others too quickly. She likes to blend into the background to make less connections.
Long Story:
0-7- Evelyn was born into a noble family known as the Fairas bloodline. On the outskirts of a North Eastern town called Malivgrad, Evelyn grew up rather pampered in her family’s snow covered manor. The only oddity in her life besides being a changeling was that she had an odd fixation of herself and how she looked.

7-10- Her life changed when her father had a trading dispute with someone in the Signfell family. Things took a turn for the horrifying the following day when night fell, Evelyn woke to find her home set ablaze when she was but 7 years old. A group from the Signfell family attacked her family’s and set her home ablaze. During the dispute they took Evelyn and her siblings hostage revealing themselves to be corrupt authorities as well as they brutally killed her brother and father but when the men discovered she was a changeling, They saw the potential and decided to kidnap her. To leave no witnesses and cut her connections to the past they chose to remove her from the rest of her family permanently. When Evelyn awoke she found her older sister carrying her through the snow covered woods and couldn't sneak into town because of the large number of guards patrolling the pearl shaded streets. The two took shelter behind a horse stall before Evelyn’s sister left and vanished leaving her with their father’s locket and half blind-right eye. Days went by and days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months before Evelyn came to the conclusion that her sister abandoned her. The time that followed was rough as she avoided authorities and food stall owners alike. She grew more keen of her senses and grew a more harsh view of the world. But she also grew to admire the felines she saw throughout the streets. She admired them so much that she saw an opportunity to hide herself in plain sight since the authorities and Signfell’s looked for a changeling child. She trained herself over the course of the following few years to make and control her own feline tail and ears to move to a moderate degree.
10- One summer day when she was stealing like normal she made a mistake and was found out and abducted by the Signfells. Much to Evelyn’s advantage though, she had grown to have her tail spawn involuntarily which greatly hid her as she disguised herself from how she looked years prior. The panic of not seeing outside the bag made her pass out several times in a panic. When she was she found herself in some kind of cell and was held imprisoned with around 20 other children. At night she covered herself in scraps of cloth to hide the pale skin she had when she fell asleep and also made a few friends that ended up waking her up before any guard came to check on their prisoners. She grew attached to them and even if she didn’t show it as often as she wanted. After a few days of imprisonment the children were branded with long tattoo markings down her right arm. Her arm swelled with pain but she was not the only one who had to deal with it as the other children shared in her pain. The children proclaimed that one day they would hang out when they're free. Quinton was a young kid looked like a red tiefling but somewhat ill so his complexion was more pink. He was nice and very open with helping others. Adrien was the youngest and was a human girl she was energetic but more frightened than anyone there. Next was Robin who was also a changeling who was kind and could tell that Evelyn was one as well but when the guards discovered him they took him somewhere and none of the other kids knew where. Lastly was Rebecca who was a cat like human who acted as the leader of the children. They all had plans to escape but the kids were taken to places and treated as slaves working on fields and taken to places to deliver 'things', abused, get wood for the fire, getting locked out for those inside to get a kick out of it, that kind of stuff but before long tragedy struck Evelyn's life again. The guards often took the children for “abusive reasons” every other night.

Nobody should forget their past but to grow to improve on it. Hypocritically she likes to build on the present attempting to forget the past

Her intent is to find her sister and to build on her connections in the May Family

She keeps herself too distant. Appearing self-centered and full of herself, she is afraid to know more about others she doesn't know. She is also scared of small areas and/or fidgets if restricted/constricted.
Flaws
11- One night however, after the Signfells beat her ruthlessly she entered her cell battered, beaten, and bloody she laid herself down in her pile of rags and almost passed out instantly. She felt some of the ragged cloth quickly encircled her and within a few quick moments she found herself powerless to a common raggamoffyn that controlled her body. She could not see or even speak as the tight cloth was practically choking her as she could hear and feel herself choking the life from her imprisoned friends. Before long she felt herself leaving the cell and probably with others being controlled drew the attention of the Signfell guards. The guards attacked her and succeeded with stabbing somewhere near her stomach. She felt claustrophobic and also passed out due to the pain. When she came to, she heard a scuffle outside her new cloth prison but all she could do was panic and resist. She made a stifled scream as she felt another blade slash at her back she saw the chance to escape was not strong enough to escape and was powerless to resist the raggamoffyn as she cried in pain before losing consciousness again. When she came to she was in a panic and immediately hugged the first person she saw. She hugged the man who would change her life forever. The man was finely dressed and a bear she compared to a bear. The man asked if she was alright following by her name and age. She answered without her last name and admitted to being 11 the man claimed to be Armon Themis “May”. He notified her that she was no longer in Malivgrad. Since he believed her an orphan who had no family as well as the only survivor he could save he chose to take her in (also that he felt guilty about slashing her himself before freeing her from the raggamoffyn). Since she saw the man as her savior and that she had nowhere else to go she revealed her changeling abilities to him. He saw this and seeing her potential as well as the control she had over a feline tail he took her in and decided to raise her as his own but not as a criminal.

13- Two years followed before she revealed to Armon what she could remember of her childhood and biological family. There discussion slowly turned into a lesson that Armon gave her about not to jump to conclusions and that her sister might not have abandoned her. At this time Armon’s eldest son Renzo, eavesdropped on her confession and before long the May family learned of Evelyn’s existence and potential. In response the head of the May family Don Valdar summoned them the following day. First he drew Armon into his office, the meeting was long and it sounded like there was a scuffle at one moment. Evelyn was drowsy from the amount of tears that she cried the evening prior so she didn't pay too much attention to her stay in the waiting room. Eventually Armon came out and brought Evelyn into the room as well. In her daze she leaned on Armon until he sat her down and She saw Don Valdar leaning on his desk fidgeting with some steampunk like contraption (she saw it as a toy). He saw she was eyeing it and he asked if she wanted to play with it. she approved and he handed it to her. She was so busy messing with it that she could not make out what they were saying (they may have been using thieves' Can't) but after a minute Don Valdar offered them both drinks. Evelyn looked up at Armon's pale face as he said "that would be nice." they were moved into another room decorated with high quality decor and she got some kind of grape juice where as Armon got some kind of other drink she didn't recognize. After some more talking a young girl came into the room which immediately drew Evelyn's attention because of the girl's cat ears and tail. Evelyn without thinking twice grew her own which made Don Valdar spit some of his drink which resulted in many of the people in the room to burst into laughter. The girl immediately tried to defend Evelyn (her new friend) from the mean adults. They corrected her and Evelyn grew a big smile on her face because of the new friend she met, Leah Shieldborne. They played for hours before Armon and her took a carriage ride home. Over the next few months Leah and her hung out and talked. Leah helped Evelyn better understand the family through her child like depictions of practically fantasizing Mobsters. Leah also helped Evelyn better control her tail and ears. Evelyn found moving the ears impossible unless she was tired where she could do it easily.

16- After several years when Evelyn was around 16 she met a young boy named Morton Hazbin who developed a crush on her... and lets just cut to the end real quick. They agreed to be friends but he still has feelings for her.

17- When she was around 17 she snuck out one night dressed as Armon to drink alcohol and see how it tasted before she was legally allowed to. She made it about one street before a man approached which almost made her panic because before the man revealed himself to be her brother-in-law (Armon's son) he told her to cut the $#!t and to turn back and follow him. he took her to a bar. he smoked and She told him it's not good for him and he said and liquor isn't good for you. She felt shut down. He took her to a bar and he ordered milk. She looked at him with distain. He teased her for several minutes before he got them both a shot each. after 5 shots where some people gambled on who would last longer he proved that she wasn't too much of a heavy drinker as she was almost wasted had the cat tail and ears and all. They talked through the drinks and he explains that he first hated her but grew to accept her. she became flustered which may have helped him win. He carried her home and she said something about how she would have revenge for 'humiliating' her he said how he looked forward to it. When the two snuck in a lamp stand of some kind turned on revealing their father Armon sitting on his reading sear with a robe on. the two looked at him before she pretended to be asleep which made her actually pass out. who knows what the two talked about when she was asleep.
18- When she was 18 she came into the 'Callister Waste Management Center' (May headquarters) when she learned that some of the family split into a different family called the Steel Family. She didn't really know anybody a part of the Steel family and they are going out as a distraction like family for fear they have a mole in the family, something like finding out who the mole is while making a defense to protect the main family. In other words the Steel Family is still the May family but a dummy group in case outsiders get involved.

19- When she was 19 she began to participate in missions. She saw the horrors of what the family was like when they had to intimidate a family into paying protection money. The family left and somewhat leaving an aggressive man behind who didn't understand his situation. When the man she was with 'Rodrick' (around his 40s) left the other man wounded and maimed he told him that they should listen to a Signfells when they speak. He told her after that she should keep the family name hidden unless absolutely necessary. He eyed her booba as they took a train. completely different scene where she saw Rodrick empty some rounds into a family of four resulting in avoided him often after that.

20- When she was on one of her missions she was ambushed by a common ragamuffin and after walking a short distance she managed to break free and kill it. Shortly there after she ran into a guttersnipe raggamoffyn and by the smallest chance she managed to catch it and trap it inside a suitcase. She did not know what to do with it so she buried it somewhere near London (she knows where). She decided to go and check on it every other week hoping that it was in pain because of her own experiences and so, she went and unburied the suitcase shortly before dawn to see if it would move. After several hours did she realize that it only seemed to move when the sun was up. She buried it and kept coming back to check on it and after 4 weeks of checking on it she chose to name it Nomiap and this process went on for weeks before she decided to leave it to torment.

22- 2 years later about 12 days after her 22nd birthday she was testing out her abilities in a dress she just got from Armon in a job where she acted as surveillance while looking several year’s younger ended up catching the attention of some suspicious people. As the job was underway they blind sighted, ambushed, and abducted her. When she came to the men revealed themselves as more members of the Signfell Family that they knew that she was Evelyn Fairas and a member of the May Family. They closed her into a dark room with a small window bringing her to the edge of her PTSD. She was in a panic and cut herself free of her restraints. And while she was working on the door hinges she heard Armon’s voice outside her cell. He came to hear their demands. A dispute occurred reminding her of who her father had the dispute with and that he was talking to Armon. She recalled the man’s points as the same she heard years ago and recalled her father was also poisoned that night. She knew the same fate would befall Armon if she didn’t act and she worked to break the door open. Her memories kept flooding as she managed to open the door and call to her new father figure. As she did so other members of the May family descended and they fought off the Signfells. As Armon, Renzo, and her were leaving, Evelyn found a book with a list targets. Some had statuses next to their names indicating dead alive and where they could be but all of them were in alphabetical order all the same. It was in order of last names as she turned to her page and name and shock grew in her eyes as she saw her sister’s name next to hers and her location unknown. She than opened a cabinet and went to her and her sister’s files before leaving. They lost the man that killed her father in the commotion as some of the family destroyed all the records in the building they locked her in because it had information on Don Valdar.

22-24- Evelyn was awarded a special rank of one of the “sons” but it was just for show. The Signfells knew about her and her sister and they use her sister as a hostage to get info on the Don. Due to this she got the title of “son” to be a part of the family but kept in the dark about the rest of the family, including her adoptive family. They made one of her friends “Leah Shieldborne” as her contact with the family. She was getting relatively little work and not getting any leads about her sister’s whereabouts before being approached by Sherlock and Watson who helped her biological family years ago. She also noticed their names was in the target book. What helped him know who she was, was her father’s pendant she kept around her neck.
